The SABSA Foundation Modules (F1 & F2) are the SABSA Institute’s official starting point for developing Security Architecture Competencies. They are designed to create a broad-spectrum of knowledge and understanding of the SABSA method, its frameworks, concepts, models and techniques. Theories and concepts are put to the test in ‘proof-of-concept’ style case study exercises and workshops so that candidates can understand how SABSA is best applied to meet the challenges of the real world.
Note: the SABSA Foundation F1 and F2 modules are presented together in a single, 5-day course that includes sitting the SABSA Chartered Architect – Foundation Level certification examinations.
The SABSA Advanced Modules are the core of the Practitioner and Master certification levels by building on the knowledge gained through the SABSA Foundation Modules. These modules are designed to demonstrate practical application of the SABSA method, frameworks, concepts, models and techniques in the real world over the course of 5 days through a combination of classroom lecture, group and individual tasks and activities before completing selected examination questions within 4 weeks of attending the course.
Module A1 – Advanced SABSA Risk Assurance & Governance
