The comment I received most recently about the program was effectively, “I’ve done X, Y and Z, and I’m in pretty good shape. I don’t see what the program will do that I’m not already doing right now.”
So this is going to be a pretty short email about specifically what the person was asking. And their question is rooted in a misinterpretation of the information included on the page talking about the program.
BTW, if you haven’t clicked the link already in the last few weeks and read the copy and decided that it’s 100%, absolutely, certainly not for you, then please, do me a favor and at least read it, ok?
The link is here: https://archistry.com/go/SecurityLeader
Now, back to the comment.
The issue here is that while the page above talks about all the things that I’ve worked with people to address, the key point – and clearly my fault since the copy is all mine – is that, yes, it’s a coaching and mentoring *program*…
…however, what that really means is that the program itself is not a recipe or a process…
…it’s an AMPLIFIER.
So, if you’re already doing all the things I mention, I’m guessing you aren’t doing them based on a core of SABSA’s core concepts of attributes, domains and the governance model.
And if you’re not, then, well…it’s simple: you can do a better job than you’re already doing.
Why?
Because SABSA’s core concepts are the only thing I’ve seen in my 25+ years doing this type of work that ENFORCE you to make everything fit together.
That force you to connect architecture to operations…
And bind all that together via a common governance approach.
No, I don’t mean what you probably think by “security governance”…
…I mean the process that keeps everything thing you do – every day – aligned and connected to the business.
So, the clarification above is that the purpose of the program is to amplify the things you’re already doing (if you’re doing the right things), and make those things more effective.
And if you’re more effective, then…
…you have more credibility with the business
…you’re not caught in endless firefighting loops…
AND…you’re probably accumulating measurably less stress than your peers.
So the point is that “the program” isn’t about doing X, Y or Z—unless you’re a bit lost and you’re trying to figure that out.
The program is about making you more effective.
And THAT means, it’s about making you more effective if you’re at the top of your game already,
OR if you’re just trying to figure out the rules of the game.
I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll create better results for you than you could alone.
That’s the guarantee part—or you get 2x your investment back.
So, with nothing to lose – and a whole lot to gain – let’s get serious.
There’s only a few days left, and I really and truly do want to help make you more effective.
If you’re ready, visit https://archistry.com/go/SecurityLeader and take action…TODAY to set up your call.
If you’re still on the fence, reply to the email and ask questions…call bollox…or whatever.
I just don’t want you to miss this opportunity.
And if you’re already happy with the path you’re on and you don’t see how it could possibly be better, all I can say is that bear with me and the emails for the next few weeks.
At the end of the month, we’ll be launching something else that may – or may not – be something that you find useful.
Just don’t miss this, because it’s only going to be harder to get – and more expensive – if you wait.
To your success as a Security Leader,
ast
