So much of the terminology we use in security is overloaded—so much to the point that people who “grew up” in different areas of security can use the same words in the same conversation, mean something totally different, and still think the other person understood exactly what they meant. It’s like that Far Side cartoon: “Blah, blah, blah, Ginger.” And one of the biggest offenders when it comes to talking past each other happens to be related to the way domains are defined and used in SABSA.
