Control Objective

A control objective is the articulation of a specific strategy within a domain to ensure that potential negative performance impacts to one or more attributes are minimized. As a result, control objectives are derived by performing a risk assessment against the attribute within the context of the given domain in a similar manner to the development of business drivers.
